Kurle (MS DOS, Win 98) Free:  Kurle (Kurzweil Librarian Editor) was developed in the old MS DOS days. This is the ONLY Editor ever produced for the 1000 Series. If you have an old PC that runs DOS or Windows 98, you can use Kurle to edit patches and sounds, rename sounds etc. You will also need a old ISA midi interface supported by the software (MusicQuest or older Creative Sound Blaster). Used with Kurlewin, Kurle can be used "off-lline" to Edit.
Details and downloads are here: Kurle .
NEW: Download of source code for Kurle: KURLEB3.zip     License

Kurlewin (MS Windows, 98, 2000, ME, XP,Vista) Free:  Kurlewin is a librarian for MS windows. It is the windows version of Kurle but without the edit functionality. This is the only librarian that will open all of the formats of Program Object Files you will find in this web page.
Details and downloads are at the Kurlewin
